The Swedish mine clearing technology and services provider Countermine Technologies AB said on Monday (31 July) that its subsidiary TerraFirma doo has won a SEK4m assignment in Lika, Croatia.
The assignment, awarded by the Croatian Mine Action Centre (CROMAC), covers the clearing of a 305,425 square metre area near the town of Lika.
Countermine Technologies on Monday also said that it is participating in the bidding for a major contract in an undisclosed Middle East country. The contract covers the clearing of a 2,780 square kilometre area, and has an estimated duration of 10 years. The potential value of the contract is several billion Swedish crowns.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
