Barnabus Energy Announces Name Change to Open Energy Corp.

SOLANA BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/21/2006 -- Open Energy Corp. (OTC BB: OEGY) (the "Company"), formerly Barnabus Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: BBSE) (WKN: A0D8Y7 / ISIN: US06769P2011), wishes to announce that effective immediately, the company shall henceforth operate under the name OPEN ENERGY CORP., which best reflects management's current strategic outlook and planning.

The new name represents the wide open global market opportunities for the Company's products and technologies, and the tremendous contributions that clean, green power can make to people's lives. It also signifies management's commitment to open, honest, proactive communications with our shareholders, customers, strategic partners, and the communities in which we do business.

The new look of the logo and identity is based upon the architecture of a photovoltaic cell. In addition to being a monogram of our initials, it encompasses the images of a star, the sun; source of all energy on earth; and a leaf -- nature's own solar cell.

We look forward to working with our shareholders, partners and customers to open the doors to renewable energy and the contributions it will make to a bright, sustainable future.

Open Energy Corp. focuses on the development and commercialization of renewable energy products and technologies for a wide range of applications including solar energy, power production, and water desalination. The Company pursues these objectives through acquisitions, strategic partnerships, technology transfer opportunities, and other business strategies.
