An alert at Copenhagen's Kastrup airport regarding a suspected case of bird flu this morning (20 April) turned out to be a false alarm. A Swedish woman aboard a Singapore Airlines flight arriving from Singapore was thought to have symptoms that could have been bird flu. The captain alerted the airport and the aircraft was isolated after landing, forcing those on board - about 275 passengers and 20 crew members - to wait until the woman had been examined. According to Danish daily newspaper Politiken the team of doctors determined that the woman was displaying symptoms of common flu and not bird flu.
