Earlier Tuesday the company said Yell.com posted revenue growth of 62% to GBP41.9 million in the nine months ended Dec. 31, driven by growth in customer numbers and increased usage.
Advertisers grew 26% at the end of the period to 167,000 and searches were up 40% on the same period last year, the company said.
Total group revenue for the period was GBP1.11 billion.
Condron said the company expects Internet giants like Google Inc. (GOOG) to continue to be aggressive in the classified advertising space.
But Yell will focus on what the company does best, which is bringing buyers and sellers together, Condron said.
