Reykjavik (IFN) Bulgarian property company Landmark Properties Bulgaria, partly owned by Iceland's Landsbanki, has acquired two real estate properties in Bulgaria's captial worth EUR14 million, a spokesman for Landmark told IFN on Wednesday.
Landmark has purchased an office building near Sofia's airport for EUR6 million and an office building, under construction, in the southern part of the city for EUR8 million, Landmark investment officer Stoil Vassilev said.
Landmark invested EUR12 million in a 42,000 square feet shopping centre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second largest city, earlier this year. Landmark has also declared interest in building shopping centres in other cities in Bulgaria as well as in Romania and Serbia.
Landmark was founded in 2005 and is owned by investment company Altima Partners, Landsbanki and Gort Securities. Landmark plans to invest EUR250 million by the end of 2007.
