(IFN) Icelandic Group in talks to buy freezing plant in France

Reykjavik (IFN) Icelandic frozen seafood supplier Icelandic Group said on Friday that it is in final negotiations regarding the acquisition of a freezing plant in Wimille, France, from Delpierre, a subsidiary of Icelandic group Alfesca.

The Wimille plant has a production capacity of 35,000 tons and achieved a turnover of EUR50m in 2005.

The final agreement is expected to be signed in the next few weeks, the company said.
