WAYNE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 06, 2006 -- Vision Research, Inc. today announced the addition of Jean-Luc Laydevant to its management team as Director of European Sales. Mr. Laydevant will be responsible for Vision Research's rapidly growing European business.
Before joining Vision Research, Mr. Laydevant held the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Xsil Ltd, selling capital equipment to the semiconductor industry. Prior to this, he held a similar position in MV Technology -- a machine vision company -- securing major contracts with Fortune 500 customers. Mr. Laydevant also worked as an aerospace engineer in the Franco-German company EUROCOPTER in Paris, before moving to Ireland in 1996. He is an engineering graduate from the Ecole Nationale Superieur d'Arts et Metiers, and received an MBA in Caen University; he lives in Dublin with his wife and a young son.
