The Finnish fertiliser company Kemira GrowHow Oyj said on Thursday (27 April) that it had acquired a minority interest in the shares of Hankkija-Maatalous Oy, a Finnish agricultural dealer, from SOK Corporation.
Following the transaction SOK owns 81% and Kemira GrowHow Oyj 19% of the shares in Hankkija-Maatalous Oy.
In addition Kemira GrowHow and Hankkija-Maatalous have agreed to partner up to develop a new Growth programme concept and offer it to farmers in Finland.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
