The Swedish construction group NCC said on Friday (7 April) that its Norwegian unit NCC Construction AS has secured a contract to modernise the Swedish minerals group LKAB's ore-unloading harbour in Narvik, Norway.
The contract, valued at SEK290m, was awarded by Leonhard Nilsen & Sonner AS, LKAB's general contractor.
The contract covers all construction-related work and is expected to take three years to complete.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
