Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced on Friday (21 April) the opening of the Nokia Research Centre Cambridge.
The joint research facility is a collaboration between Nokia Research Centre and MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL).
The facility aims to develop high-impact research to create the state-of-the-art in communications technologies, Nokia said.
The Nokia Research Centre Cambridge would have some 20 researchers from MIT and 20 researchers from Nokia.
