Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Tuesday (11 July) that it had entered into agreement with the Singapore mobile and IDD service provider MobileOne (M1) for the supply of the first High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) network in Singapore.
Under the agreement Nokia will upgrade M1's core network as well as provide a software upgrade and other services including network optimisation.
The contract also includes deployment services consisting of installation, commissioning, integration and acceptance testing of the network.
The contract has been valued at USD30m.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.56 British pounds (GBP).
