Statistics Norway, the Norwegian state statistics agency, said on Monday (10 July) that the Norwegian consumer price index (CPI) had decreased by 0.2% from May to June 2006.
The decrease was mainly due to lower prices of electricity.
Consumer prices had increased by 2.1% from June 2005, according to Statistics Norway.
