The cabin crew of SAS Braathens, the Norwegian unit of Scandinavian airline SAS, went back to work on 8 April after a two-day strike. The negotiators for the union reportedly reached an agreement for a new contract with the airline management. The strike was launched on 6 April and included more than 1,000 cabin attendants. It was estimated that the strike affected up to 30,000 travellers each day, The Associated Press reported.
