Spanish airline Spanair, part of the Scandinavian airline group SAS Group, said on Tuesday (11 April) that is offering its customers more frequencies within the Iberian Peninsula over Holy Week to meet the extra passenger demand.
Spanair said that the increase represents a rise of 49%, or 68 flights, in total scheduled flights compared with the same period last year.
The frequencies have been increased by adding 43 flights to the 182 scheduled for this summer season.
The airline has also increased its services on routes between the Peninsula and the Canary archipelago by adding a total of 17 further frequencies to the 224 scheduled for this summer season.
