CEO Sjoerd Vollebregt: "The operating result for the first quarter of 2006 is on par with the same quarter last year. All units have performed reasonably or well and we are not dissatisfied. A programme is ongoing within Aerospace Services to accelerate profitability improvement. We are currently investigating whether Stork's strategy might not better be implemented as a private company rather than a listed company. This investigation was started in the course of February and is expected to take 3 to 4 months. This means that we expect to be able to provide clarity on this matter before the summer. The costs of this investigation so-far adversely affect the first quarter EBIT and net result."
