Statistics Sweden, the Swedish state statistics agency, reported on Wednesday (26 April) that the value of Swedish exports in January-March 2006 amounted to SEK267.3bn while imports of goods amounted to SEK223.6bn.
Exports increased by 19% in value while imports increased by 18% in value, as compared to January-March 2005.
The net trade surplus in January-March amounted to SEK43.7bn, up from SEK35.7bn in January-March 2005.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
