Statistics Sweden, the Swedish state statistics agency, said on Thursday (27 July) that from May to June 2006 producer prices decreased by 0.1% and export prices decreased by 0.3%.
For the domestic market producer prices increased by 0.3%.
The decrease in producer prices was mainly due to lower prices for mining and quarrying and non-ferrous metals, the agency said.
Swedish import prices decreased by 1.1% from May to June.
Since June 2005 import prices have risen by 6.0% and producer prices by 4.4%.
