Finnish telecomms company TeliaSonera Finland (Sonera), part of the Finnish-Swedish TeliaSonera AB, is reportedly to give up its public telephones business. Sonera currently has approximately 2,000 public phones, with some 1,200 indoors and the rest outdoors. The phones would be put out of use by the end of April 2006, reported the online edition of the Finnish daily Ilta Sanomat, quoting the Finnish news agency STT.
