Finnish IT security company SSH Communications Security Corporation said on Monday (24 April) that the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, had selected the SSH Tectia solution to ensure secure system administration and to enable secure file transfers.

The University of Michigan licensed the SSH Tectia solution, including SSH Tectia Manager, through the SSH University Site Licensing Program.

SSH Tectia enables faculty, staff and students to protect mission-critical data by enabling SFT and eliminating unsecured telnet sessions for system administrators with secure remote access using the SSH Tectia client/server solution, the company said.
